Case Study
My group members and I researched a famous house called the Maison a Bordeaux where we then made drawings and an accurate model to represent the house visually.
6
Mondo Materialis Taking three key concepts from the Case Study project (Structure, Weight, Division), an abstract representation of materials was made to understand the previous projects I a visual way.
7
Visitor’s Center
With the case study house and the Mondo model in mind, I was tasked to create a visitor’s center that would adhere to any guests wanting to visit the Maison a Bordeaux. My visitor’s center is a single floor center that looks like two floors on the outside. It is completely wheelchair accessible.

Collage
After picking the site of the Philly Art Museum steps, I used the photos taken from the site nd created a collage to represent the area as a space. Above is my analog collage as well as my digital one.

Here is the progression of the digital (top) and the analog (bottom).

The Monograph After choosing my topic on the differences of structure in works of Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers, I created a small visual book, called a monograph. For this particular project, not only did I showcase specific works by both Piano and Rogers, but I also created my own book binding from scratch after many try's of trial and error.
11
Using a cross-stitch, I was able to keep the pages tight together while still being able to open the monograph with room to spare.

Diagram
Tasked with diagraming the Spanish steps as well as the Philly art museum, I used AutoCAD as well as Illustrator to create abstract diagrams showing different demographics in a visual way. These diagrams (below) illustrate the Spanish Steps.
