Argie Lamb
First Woman Elected Trustee of St Mark
I was appointed in September 1994 as the first female trustee at an unprecedented time, not only for St. Mark, but for most churches in the area. Needless to say, I was somewhat uncomfortable initially but my mantra was, “God has a purpose” for me to serve as a trustee and my goal was to work to fulfill whatever that purpose was.
The pandemic was new to all of us. The ONLY thing that I could do was to put my trust TOTALLY in God!
