THE CHANGING WORLD OF PAINTS AND COATINGS The paint and coatings industry has reached a watershed in its history. There are those that would argue that a sustainable eco friendly future for the industry is based upon using only natural ingredients that are good for the environment with no harsh chemicals or additives. At I-CanNano we absolutely believe and are committed to this. We also believe that traditional paints and coatings that use or contain biocides or synthetic or chemical agents with high VOCs made to a price point, have had their day. We need products that deliver performance but without compromising our environment, products that deliver a sustainable future. Natural ingredients are great. But what is the point of using raw natural ingredients if you have to repaint or recoat a surface often, thus using many times more natural resources than you have to? This is wasteful. And what's the point of using synthetic or chemical additives to try and make paints perform better or last longer if they are harmful to our environment? Neither of these traditional approaches offer a truly sustainable solution. So what does? A truly Sustainable future... Enter Nanotechnology Paints and Coatings... the only technology that can be described as truly sustainable. It uses natural ingredients. But Nano products are not material resource hungry, do not contain harsh chemicals, yet deliver performance which typically outlives traditional products by a factor of 300%. THE PRACTICAL BENEFITS: • Outstanding adhesion – our putty becomes embedded in the surface of the wall. • The surface of walls become smooth & tough, resistant to water and are anti-bacterial. • Oil free base provides a smooth application, high coverage and no VOCs. • Robust nano particle matrix minimises peeling due to dampness that other fillers are prone to. IDEAL FOR: All type of interior and exterior walls, ceilings and other plasterboard based structures. METHOD OF DELIVERY: Surface must be clean, dry, and free of wax, grease, oil, loose or peeling paint, and other foreign material. Use emery paper to remove loose dusts. Open up and fill cracks and other holes with water base nano crack filler for best results. PRACTICAL COVERAGE: 15-20 square feet per kg, depending on roughness, levelling of surface and porosity of the substrate. DRYING TIME: Dries naturally in 12 hours. Apply water for curing and better bonding. APPLICATION: Pour water on the powder wall putty adequately and mix well to prepare a paste form. Ensure that no trace of dry powder is available in the paste. Apply the paste immediately, otherwise paste will dry up. Use thin metal spatular for application on wall surface. SUSTAINABLE AND ECO FRIENDLY Nano Fillers last considerably longer, are more robust, anti-bacterial, are water and dirt repellent, offer low or no VOCs, and are kinder to the environment because they greatly reduce the need for raw material consumption.

THE PRACTICAL BENEFITS: • Outstanding adhesion – Surfaces are more strongly bonded for both a hard or smooth finish. • Chemical bonding between the nano particles and the surface provides for a very longlife. • Tile, boards, expansion joints, roads and runways become resistant to water, dirt, UV rays and the sealant is also anti-bacterial. • The anti-sticking technology prevents dirt from adhering to the surface, thus easy to clean and stain free. • With bathroom tiles, surfaces are no longer prone to moldy growth due to the anti-bacterial nano-alloy in the sealant matrix. IDEAL FOR: Works on all Bathroom, kitchen or other tiles whether on walls or the floor including ceramic, kottah, stone, etc. Specialised sealants also work on boards, expansion joints, roads and airport runways. METHOD OF DELIVERY: Tiles can be sprayed, brushed, dipped or smeared using a soft cloth, tissue paper or sponge. DRYING TIME: Products typically dry in 4-12 hours. PRACTICAL COVERAGE: 100–120 square feet per kg, depending on the porosity of substrate. Stir well before using. Use roller or brush for application. DRYING TIME: Dries naturally dust free in 4 hours. Recoat after 4 hours. Drying time is variable depending on temperature and humidity. 1 coat of Primer and 2 coats of Finish recommended. IDEAL FOR: All interior and exterior wood finishes, including hard and soft wood floors, wooden furniture, exterior garden furniture or any other wooden surface. The colour of base is white but may be tinted with universal colourants to 15 different colours. METHOD OF DELIVERY: Surface must be clean, dry, and free of wax, grease, oil, loose or peeling paint, and other foreign material.
