AVOIDED DEFORESTATION PARTNERS AD CAMPAIGN
OVERVIEW ADP are an organization that helps to bring to the light the exhausting of our rainforests worldwide. Staying green and being a part of corporate level decisions towards preserving our environment are what ADP strive for. CHALLENGE With staying green being such a common topic, a new way to communicate the same message is necessary. The “Deforestation-Free� campaign is made to directly link eco-responsible choices with a product. The seal was created to represent this bond between mother nature and matrialism. ADP wants to create that distinction for their to be an understanding of where and how consumers get their products. SOLUTION These anti-deofrestation posters will be a personifying ad campaign that informs consumers on the importance of not contibuting to deforestation by elaborate portraiture. The women will personify the rainforests around the world that are suffering from corporate expansion. Calling attention to how their beauty is being worn down by consumers is going to be an engaging realization for viewers.

OVATION GUITARS AD CAMPAIGN
OVERVIEW The Ovation Guitar Company makes primarily steel-string guitars. Other than the strings that make them different, their rounded-back shape and sound are what set them apart. People who like evolving music like Ovation, but people who love guitars for the wooded sound discredit us. CHALLENGE Ovation guitars are today’s modern take on design. This campaign will showcase our Artist Series guitar line. We will highlight what makes the Ovation guitars sound and look different; proving why this Artist Series guitar is special. SOLUTION To execute this campaign, the “Don’t Be Square” Tagline will help highlight the features of the Ovation guitar that set it apart. Magazine ads will be created for those music enthusiasts who read music magazines. We will also create online Ads for Spotify and exterior posters.

BLUE WASABI
SOCIAL MEDIA REBRANDING OVERVIEW Blue Wasabi is a Sushi and Martini Bar located in Pheonix, AZ. Because of their unique mix of sushi and martinis, they stand out to those who enjoy sushi and sports bars alike. Their audience consists of a larger group, so their advertising needs to speak to many, while maintaining brand identity. CHALLENGE Their online presence is lacking while their competition has Facebook and Instagram pages. Blue Wasabi needs a combination of graphics made to boost their engagement and name. These graphics will need to be Facebook cover photos, Social Media advertisments, and Table Top image. SOLUTION In order to boost their social media engagement, Seasonal/Themed Cover photos reflected brand colors and featured rolls or drinks. The newly branded photographs of their menu were used to create clean and concise social media posts with witty names. The table tents were made with specials and events happening in bar. To go along with the brand, the typeface used was chosen to reflect the oriental cuisine they provide.

VIRTUAL BIRTH CENTER
SOCIAL MEDIA REBRANDING OVERVIEW Virtual Birth Center is lead to be a resources for those interested in natural birth and good parenting techniquesparenting. They have a strong focus on building relationships with individuals and really extracting the positive and encouraging nature that these parents need in order to successfully welcome a baby into their lives. They provide childbirth education and parenthood preparation for those who sign up for webinar and classes. CHALLENGE The main lead of this business is Krystina Sloan; a single mother who has really come out on top of her parenting and understanding of birth. She provides a nurturing environment and transition into parenthood. What she needs to do is put down a foundation for herself on social media so she can gain a presence amongst more potential clients. SOLUTION So that she can represent herself in a welcoming light, she wants her presence to reflect positivity, personal strengthening, and optimism. After talking with her, she wants to implement imagery of birth and women, btu moreso images that invoke an existential feeling and appreciation for life. Using imagery of nature, water, andgalactic depcitions will be used to give off the spiritual vibe she wants. For VBC, focusing on redesigning the logo, creating webinar graphics, and making social media images is what is needed.1

FITBIT
AD CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW Fitbit stands as the current market leader in wearable fitness technology. Second in the wearable tech industry only to Apple, whose iWatches secondary functions overlap Fitbit, but it is not primarily a fitness accessory. Fitbit needs to become the go-to wearble tech device for successful business professionals. CHALLENGE Currently ages 25-34 make up 40 percent of the fitness band owners. The competitors Misfit, Jawbone, and Garmin are also industry shareholders. he goal of this campaign is to make Fitbbit stand out to the target audience, from the other wearable tech as a sleek industry leader in wearable tech, making it to the go-to choice in wearable tech. SOLUTION Three main advertisements will be created to pull together the “Choose Your Fit� campaign. A professional in our target audience has devices that facilitate their routine like watches, laptops, and tablets. The first ad will be a tablet ad. Our target audience also holds individuals who pay bills and taxes. Direct mail ads will be a way to also reach them in their homes in selectively active and professional residential areas. The third ad will be an online ad that will be displayed on the side of a website.

BRANDING & PACKAGING OVERVIEW Chillin records provides Recording and Mixing, Mastering, and Producing. But they also handle the Graphic Design, Marketing, Production, Distribution, and Scouting A&R (artists & repertoire). They help artists in the rough reach their polished and energizing results. With the purpose of showcasing unique and compelling musicians, they work together to achieve the hypnotic and crowd-moving music that will play for a universal audience. CHALLENGE With a desire for unique and eclectic taste, we will need to cater to many types of music. Talent comes in many genres, so the logo and company personality needs to appeal a call to a broader audience. Creating a design that encompasses the major recording and production features will be key in helping to stand out amongst other record labels and studios. SOLUTION In order to truly stand out in Jacksonville, we want to provide quality services with a professional and equipped environment. A strong part of this will be dedicated to the logo design and its application across products and services. The aesthetic of our studio environment will be inspiring, warm, creative, and modern. This way, it can always be inspiring innovation. To accompany their studio they will implement a website where people can book sessions, search for merchandise, and see who has been a part of the Chillin Records label.

TRAVELING LANTERN THEATER COMPANY PROMOTIONS
OVERVIEW The Traveling Lantern Theater Company has a new premiere coming up for their fairytale mashup production called, Rapunzel & the Peach. The show is mainly for children and young adults. CHALLENGE Productions are always happening around the big cities. The TLTC wants their images to be illustrative fairytale graphics that will attract the younger target audience. With advertisement everywhere, the posters need to be clean and spacious so that they gain attention through contrasting against city clutter. Along with posters, they need a matching brochure for people to read about the production. SOLUTION Three sets of graphics were made to accomodate the production. A poster was created for outside use above areas with heavy traffic. The other graphic was formatted for a bus stop. The brochure includes the drawings from both of the posters. Rapunzel and the Chameleon were hand drawn and used as illustrations. After scanning into the computer, they were all given the tone of worn paper and made to look like drawings from an old fairy tale. The title typeface was chosen to mimic the script in storybooks. This production was represented through themed typefaces and illustrations.

CHRISTOPHER MOORE ORIGINAL ARTWORK
OVERVIEW Christopher Moore is an artist from California and raised in Brasil. He blends the lines between illustration and photography through the use of mixed media and digital collage work. CHALLENGE Art has become an academic study in the form of Graphic Design rather than just a pass-time. Much like the patchwork collection of experiences he has lived through, these pieces stand to tell a story. But refining a style choice is what he needs. SOLUTION Through school, his work has been refined through the influence of academic resources in college. At this point, his artwork has been created through one of two means: mixed media (drawing and photography), or digital collages made by blending layers of imagery on top of the other.

AMPHITRITE
INFLAMMATION
In Greek mythology, she was Poseidon’s wife and goddess. She is rarely recognized as equally powerful as Poseidon for having taken his heart, but she still stands as a symbol for the sea. The model is Tamara Nassar. While studying in Lawrence for only my 1st year in college, she mirrored the same underlying power that Amphitrite represented.
Inflammation is a story about internal chaos that can burn one to ashes from the inside out if not taken care of. The whole figure is mended together from layers of at least 15 different backs , heads, and necks; all to compose a collaged entity that represents many. The seams breaking in her spine show that her strength is weakening; exposing the troubles going on at home that are sending flames through the roof. The rest of the image is composed of the same layering and blending of multiple images into one, untied message. INVISIBLE MAN
HEIRESS
Invisible man is one of the books among the list of Forbidden Books. The purpose of this project was to learn about the story, and illustrate a cover for the book. With the strong scientific nature of this fictitious storyline, I created an image that drew on similar elements. I wanted to make a portrait that showed how invisible he was by showing everything but himself. In the picture are elements and textures taken from diagrams, cityscapes, gold, tress, clouds, and more.
Heiress is a representation of depression. With little to look after, even a queen falls into the darkness of her own mind. Loneliness strikes everyone, and it moves through us in different ways. She shows how it can take us in and destroy what we understand as real versus fake. Her enviroment is composed of water textures, abstract textures from trees and jellyfish, edited elements of hair under water, and surreal collaging of faces.The overall mood of this is supposed to make the viewer feel the weight of the dense depression she goes through in her mind. PAPILIA The first of mixed media that I created, Papilia is the strongest character yet that I have made. Much Like Collumque, I steered away from facial expressions so that I could use other elements to express things. I drew out her figure and hair and used it as the guideline for collaging. Her skin is dyed with celestial grain and water. My favorite characteristic is her wings. These wings were found on the ground perfectly intact. It amazed me and for some reason I picked them up. They stayed in such good state that when I placed them on the ground to take a picture, the wing dust fell off like fairy dust.
AMAZON This image was the first of large scale drawings I have completed. The white out figure of this Amazonian giant is based off of a picture that was projected onto a wall and re-stylized. After completing the drawing, the photo was uploaded and then blended with a scenery of forests and water. This is one of the few videos I included a process video on (https://goo.gl/zvxzXa).
