MOUNTAIN DAY

Cardigan’s annual m ountain day started w ith a scream by the school leader in the dining room. The busses came for the third tim e due to two previous cancellations. The hard climb w ent to Moosilauke M ountain and the m ajority of boys w ent to Kearsarge M ountain for the easy climb. Both had near perfect w eather conditions which made the day a complete success.

AWARDS BANQUET

The night before Thanksgiving vacation, Cardigan had its 1967 Fall Awards Ban­ quet. Andy Coleman and Tom Marsden received the Varsity Most Valuable Foot­ ball Award. T he team’s quarterback, Brad Davis received the Most Improved Player Award. Everyone on the football team received a letter. In soccer John K eilhauer received the Most Valuable Player Award and W oody D anforth received the Most Improved Player Award.
