WINTER AWARDS BANQUET

T he traditional end to W inter was eight weeks late this year, for although the teams had finished their seasons, W inter went on and on a n d ............T he Varsity Hockey Team and its award w inning player Rick Graham, took pride in having another successful season; its record: 9 wins — 3 losses and a tie. Tom Flavin, who was named “Best All Around Skier,” led the team to a very respectable overall record of 4 wins and 5 losses. Mr. Aldrich awarded innum erable “Im proved Skill” certificates to the dauntless recreational skiers. Cardigan’s one winless team, the Reserve Hockey Squad, rationalized that w inning often lies in the opportunity of playing.
