he Ceccarelli family has an artisan tradition that goes back over four generations with passion and respect of old-time traditions. Very little has changed over the years: ability, a feel for the raw material, a constant search for better quality is the same of their great-grandfathers. Of course, time has brought a change in tastes, and so our products have adapted, albeit without departing from their classic forms, but becoming more linear and essential. This makes the style of Ceccarelli unmistakable. For many years now, the company has been working clay with great passion to produce ceramic objects that are literally unique: each piece takes shape directly in the hands of their Master Artisans, who rely on an age–old tradition. There is no machinery involved and therefore no mass production. The basic potter’s wheel and the craftsman’s ability, combined with imaginative artistic designs is all that’s needed. The outcome is not just a piece of ceramics, but a small and significant piece of ceramics that bears witness to the efforts, to the sincere passion with which is followed up in the preparation of every vase, table, or other object, that emerges almost miraculously from the shapeless raw material to satisfy the wishes of customers around the world. or over 40 years Roberto Giovannini’s products have enjoyed world-wide recognition as the best in the field of high-quality furnishing. The factory and the office is based in Florence-Italy where the carving tradition is part of the history of the town. Owing to the company’s long-standing experience and to the commitment and craftsmanship of their staff they produce a wide and exclusive collection of items carved in wood, reproducing original models in styles of the past as well as creating contemporary pieces. Roberto Giovannini’s production reflects the best of antique traditions in this field. Wood is chosen only once it has reached its right level of seasoning. Items are then carefully carved, before being finished and decorated by hand using gold and silver leaf of the highest quality. They combine the highest and finest standard of carving with finishes of matching quality. It doesn’t much matter that over a hundred years have passed since those times because artisan traditions and the secrets of woodworking have passed down from generation to generation essentially unchanged. he characteristics of Mangani is based on a diverse range of collections from antique heirlooms to modern day designs. The Mangani Family has long been recognized as restorers of old porcelain and artistic objects. Production is very complex and completely handmade apart from the kilns which are controlled by sophisticated electronic programs. Mangani’s collections are exclusively designed from the first mould in chalk where the first cast in porcelain is prepared to the various materials such as kaolin and quartz which are then milled and filtered. All the moulds are created from the inside and this makes their production unique and allows them to be one of the only manufacturers in the world that can produce porcelain of wide dimensions for large scale interior projects.
