UMSV students will enjoy lunch in Smith Hall as they meet and mingle with several guest speakers. Students will have the opportunity to learn from these speakers as they explore different career paths with advice from established leaders in business, education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and more.

High school students will explore Seton College, our newly renovated space on the 5th floor of Founders Hall. As they enjoy lunch in the Carson Commons, students will hear from members of our Admission Teams about life at the Mount both within and beyond the classroom, including information on the Mount Pathways opportunity programs, Premier Programs scholarships, Seton College, athletics, clubs and activities, service initiatives, and more.

Donna M. Wilson, President of Strategic Intersections, LLC, will offer a fireside chat covering her work experience with the most iconic Fortune 100 brands, creating transformational business strategies and organizational shifts to increase market share. Donna leveraged her extensive experience transforming underserved communities by transitioning from community development to a business focus on global diversity, equity, and inclusion. In doing so, she reached across the globe to introduce strategies to increase representation of women and under-represented market segments, retain top diverse talent, and build a more inclusive workplace.

Speaker Bios

Bishop Joseph Espaillat is an auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of New York. Appointed by Pope Francis in January 2022, he is the youngest Catholic bishop and the first Dominican bishop in the United States. He is also the founder of the ministry ‘Messengers of Christ.’

Bishop Edmund Whalen was born on Staten Island and raised in Blessed Sacrament Parish. Ordained a priest in 1984, he served in various parishes and taught at Msgr. Farrell High School. In 2019, Cardinal Dolan appointed him Vicar for Clergy and, that December, he was ordained a bishop.

Alex Jean-Baptiste currently serves as Global Head of Citi Investment Management and Trust Compliance. His experience spans multiple different industries, all centered around law. He graduated with a JD from Quinnipiac University School of Law, and he is a licensed New York attorney.

Donna M. Wilson, President of Strategic Intersections, LLC, has work experience with the most iconic Fortune 100 brands, creating transformational business strategies and organizational shifts to increase market share.

Ken Engel is the EVP and a principal of the Saberpoint and Budget Wireless Group of Companies. He provides senior level direction and leadership of sales, marketing, and client/vendor relations initiatives.

Meghan French is a mission-driven leader focused on advancing equitable education and professional experience in high-demand fields like technology. At Break Through Tech, Meghan oversees external affairs for an organization renowned for having the nation’s largest AI/ ML program for diverse undergraduates.

Michael P. Hoffman is Chairman Emeritus and Senior Advisor of Changing Our World, a company he co-founded nearly two decades ago. Changing Our World was the first philanthropic services firm to provide fundraising, management, and corporate social engagement strategy to nonprofits and corporations alike.

Fanny Li is a growth marketer at Saks Global with a passion for connecting brands to people. As a proud firstgeneration college graduate and product of public schools, she loves being involved with the community, previously working with youths in connection with arts and activism.

Troy Prince is a Bronx native with 20+ years of experience on Wall Street. Noting the persistent lack of diversity in the front offices of Wall Street and the abundance of hungry and available diverse talent, he had the idea to found ‘Wall Street Bound’ for over 15 years.

John Prufeta is Founder and General Partner of Medical Excellence Capital, a venture capital company investing into early-stage, groundbreaking new medicines. He is also Chairman of The Medical Excellence Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization providing funding to scientists pursuing exciting new avenues for treatment and cures.

Racquel Reid , LCSW is an entrepreneur, speaker, therapist, social change agent, and founder of Inklusive Therapy PLLC. She leads an organization committed to making therapy inclusive across intersecting identities and cultural norms.

Kamina Singh launched HumanUPtions in 2017 to empower students and new graduates via storytelling by industry leaders and experts. This initiative came about from her own experience of never doing an internship while in school nor having a career plan upon graduation.

Jason Wilson was named President and COO for Equibase Company, the thoroughbred industry’s official database of racing information and statistics, on March 7, 2016. Prior to that, he had served stints as the Vice President of Business Development for The Jockey Club and President of TJC Media Ventures.

Michelle Blake Wilson has administered, developed, and executed marketing, communications, and sponsorship activation programs for some of the most recognizable brands in the world, including Viacom/BET, Mercedes-Benz, and Victoria’s Secret.
