KALEO

Kaleo (pronounced kal-eh’-o)

This event is a collaborative effort among the DMT, the PDMT and the Memphis Theological Seminary using a grant from the Fund for Theological Exploration. Kaleo is for young people who have heard the call of God and are discerning that calling. We have 20 young people ages 15-21 who are matched with a mentor participant in Kaleo in 2017. A 12-month study series was developed by the PDMT to be used by the mentor to help their mentee better understand his or her call. Each month revolves around the call of a biblical character and a modern-day call story from someone in our denomination. There are questions to be discussed between the young person and mentor. The mentor will also be helping the mentee develop a project that will be based around his or her call.
