We are very excited to welcome you to your new on-campus home. Please acquaint yourself with the residence life website at reslife.cmich.edu before you begin the application process for an apartment. While this booklet provides an overview of living on campus, we encourage students to visit our website for more detailed information about our Graduate Housing Community. Graduate APARTMENTS The Graduate Housing Community is a two-building residential housing area, located on the north end of campus.
Utilities included in your semester rate: Electricity, water, heat, trash removal, wireless internet and recycling.
Oversized elevators provide access to all floors in both buildings. A two story lobby and spacious lounge, furnished with comfortable seating is centrally located in each building.
East Graduate Housing
The West Building (410 E Bellows) includes a fully equipped fitness center for both buildings’ residents and a meeting room. The East Building (510 E Bellows) includes two meeting rooms.

The one-, two-and four-bedroom air-conditioned units are designed with a high degree of sound isolation. They offer spacious great rooms with large windows. All units offer accessible design functionality, while special fully-accessible units are available with enhanced clearances. Graduate Housing are semi-furnished units. In room dishwashers, microwaves, washers and dryers are included in each unit. Furnishings include a couch, end table, coffee table, queen size bed in each bedroom, dresser, desk and desk chair. One- and four-bedroom units have a kitchen table and four chairs while two-bedroom units have a raised table with bar stools.

How to
APPLY Log into housing.cmich.edu with your CMU global ID and password. If you do not remember your global ID or password, contact the CMU Help Desk at 989-774-3662. In the housing application you will be able to fill out a lifestyle profile, create roommate groups and select your apartment style. Housing assignments and roommate information will be sent to your CMICH email. Move-in is the weekend before classes begin for fall 2024.
