Alloy Media and Marketing Partner Access Tool (PAT) The Partner Access Tool (PAT) is an Alloy Media + Marketing (AM+M) online tool designed to save you time and resources. PAT launched in the Spring of 2003. AM+M developed the tool for student newspapers after many years of feedback for such a tool received at many conferences including CNBAM. On PAT, you can view and submit changes to your data set, as well as access orders, status of orders and material information. If you are not already a user signing up is easy and it’s FREE! 1. Go to www.marketmedia.com/pat. Click on “PAT Sign UP”. Fill out short application and submit. A new username and password will be emailed to you shortly. 2. Welcome Page – Key Features a. Download ad material - Select the “Publication Insertions” button on the toolbar to view Insertion Orders. Click on the “Download material” icon associated with a particular IO to download the material (when available). b. On-line ad confirmation - Select the “Publication Insertions” button on the toolbar to view open Insertion Orders. From here you can confirm space reservation and receipt of material. c. Review and update all newspaper mechanical data - Select the “Publication Update” button on the toolbar. d. View detailed reports - Select the “Publication Reports” button on the toolbar. From here you can generate Weekly Ad Schedules and Status Reports. 3. Tool Bar Functions a. Publication Insertions- View past, current and future insertion orders (IO). At this juncture you can view and print IO’s, download material, confirm insertion order is “set-to-run” and track whether AM+M has received proof of performance (tear-sheets). b. Publication Reports- You can obtain the following: 1. Weekly Ad Schedule shows all ads placed in your publication by 360 Youth for either the current or upcoming week.

Alloy Media and Marketing Partner Access Tool (PAT) 2. Publisher Status Report gives you a summary of all ads placed in your publication by AM+M for a particular date range. PAT allows you to view the history of insertions placed by AM+M back to the year 2000. This report also allows you to view payment history with amount, date paid and actual check number relating to each IO. 3. Over Due Notices provides you with a summary of outstanding proof of performance. c. Publication Update- Use this section to review or update your publication’s mechanical information. This includes contact information, publication calendar, special issues, rates and other information that would help AM+M represent your paper in the best manner possible. Changes are not accepted instantly, but will take effect within 48 hours or less. d. Account Info- You can manage account users, add additional users and set your communication preference with AM+M. 1. You can choose how you would prefer to receive correspondence from AM+M. Currently by default you receive a fax, email and a hard copy in the mail for all insertion orders. This includes all change orders and cancellations as well. Depending on your comfort level you can choose any one combination of options of how you prefer to be kept informed. e. Help & Support- Provides a full list of AM+M contacts. Both phone and email information is available. An AM+M representative will be glad to answer any questions.
