Winning essays were selected based on overall content, grammar and heart. De Barros Moraes submitted an essay nominating her reading/language arts/social studies teacher Linnette Vasquez as an “A+ Teacher” because she is a missionary teacher in Haiti where she volunteers to train educators, in addition to her work at Southside Elementary. “She loves doing volunteer jobs to help people,” said De Barros Moraes in her winning essay. “And she makes learning fun. She deserves much more than just an A+.” De Barros Moraes and Vasquez each are being honored with a vacation prize package consisting of: • Four-day/three-night accommodations for four people at one of the Downtown Disney Resort Area Hotels; • Four free Walt Disney World oneday, one-park passes; –––––––––––––––––– See
