PBSA celebrates its 55th opening day

esidents of Cutler Bay, it’s almost time again to honor past accomplishments of the town’s founders as well as relax and have fun with child-like abandon. Cutler Bay’s Third Annual Founders Day Celebration will take place on Saturday, Feb. 21, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Cutler Ridge Park, 10100 SW 200 St. Organizers are promising “a magical day in the park for the whole family,” with games, entertainment, food, rides, face painting and, of course, the notorious Third Annual Cutler Bay Food Fight. The two previous Founders Day events were well-attended and great examples of old-fashioned small town get-togethers, with a relaxed atmosphere, great food, and entertainment provided by the students of area schools as well as a few clubs or performance groups. There also are rides for the kids, carnival style games and special displays
