BY GLORIA BURNS Jerry Santeiro, is a 20-year resident of Coral Gables and already has made his mark on the City Beautiful. He is a born leader who has a masterful way of entertaining a crowd whether he is emceeing events or simply conducting a meeting, a reason he is much sought after by so many organizations. Santeiro was born in Havana, Cuba, but relocated to Miami in 1960, with his family. After graduating from Christopher Columbus High School and then Georgia Tech, where he earned a degree in JERRY SANTEIRO Industrial Engineering, Jerry joined Florida Power and Light Company as a field engineer. He swiftly moved through the management ranks until his departure in 1994 as manager of corporate and external affairs. During his time with FPL, he received his MBA from Florida International University and also represented FPL in Washington,

he National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) presents the “body image | body essence” art exhibition, featuring the work of Massachusetts sculptor John Magnan.
