ecent noteworthy events in and around the City of Sunny Isles Beach have generated “quotes of note” you may not have heard – but now, you can read all about them: “We’ v e s een s o mu ch d ev elo p ment in Sunny Isles Beach so quick l y b e c a u s e o f t h e C i t y C o mmi s s i o n ’s ‘can-do’ forward-thinking attitude.” Gil Dezer of Trump Grande Hundreds of business and community leaders learned about progressive Sunny Isles Beach initiatives as well as county budget and reorganization plans when the city hosted Miami-Dade’s new Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez at the Trump resort.

he Sunny Isles Beach 4th Annual Jazz Fest kicks off with a new event on Thursday night, October 13th, 2011. The City will host the Biscayne Triangle Truck Round-up (BTTR). This popular group of food trucks will be parked at Pelican Community Park, 18115 North Bay Road from 5:30 – 10:00pm that evening. Take a night off from cooking and bring the family out to enjoy music from a DJ and food available for purchase from a wide variety of gourmet food trucks. This evening will also include our annual art auction, where an original work of art representing the Jazz Fest is unveiled and auctioned off to the highest bidder to benefit charity.
