Dawson Driscoll is the longtime head coach of Marywood men’s soccer team.
Johns believes Driscoll’s impressive resume will serve the fledgling league well. “To just be exposed to him is going to be huge for the kids,” Johns said. “You look at his credentials and what he’s done —– there’s very few people like him in the area. And, of course, he has a real passion for the sport.”
Overall, Johns thinks the developmental league will ultimately pay big dividends for Triboro Youth Soccer. “The interest level has been good,” Johns said. “A lot of families are interested.” For more information on the league, contact Johns at triborosoccer@outlook. com, or Jon Slocom, at tribororegistrar@ outlook.com.
