The best used car dealer prize went to Cars Are Us. PNC Bank’s Clarks Summit branch won for best bank. Best financial service went to Abington Financial Group. The prize for best contractor went to Perez Design.Build.Remodel. The award for best realtor went to Coldwell Banker Town & Country Properties’ Clarks Summit office. The prize for best insurance agent went to Thompson Northeast Insurance. The award for best electrician went to G.R. Noto Electrical Construction. In the category of best garden center the winner was Corky’s Garden Path Greenhouse. The winner for best golf course was Summit Hills Golf Club. Winning for best hotel was the Ramada Clarks Summit. The winner in the best tobacco/specialty store category was Summit Cigar. Winning for best pet groomer was Abington Dog Grooming Salon. The award for best community park went to South Abington Park. The winner in the best professional practice category was Holly Rabbe — Acupuncture & Craniosacral Therapy. The category of best professional party deejay was won by All About Entertainment. In the voting for best wedding photographer, the winner was Guy Cali Associates Inc. The award for best pharmacy went to the Medicine Shoppe. The prize for best senior living facility went to Abington Manor. The award for best chiropractor was won by Deleon’s Chiropractic Health Center. The winner for best florist was McCarthy Flowers. The category best place for a familyfun night out was won by Lahey Family Fun Park. The award for best festival went to The Clarks Summit Festival of Ice. The winner in the best day-care center category was Daydreamers Child Care. The best dance studio award was one by Devine School of Dance. The winner for best nail salon was Coco Nails & Spa. In the category of best dry cleaners, the winner was Eagle Cleaners. Voted best elementary school teacher was Michelle La Magne at Clarks Summit Elementary. The best middle school teacher went to Pat McGarry at Abington Heights Middle School. The best high school teacher award went to Vincent Pricci at Abington Heights High School. The best place to shop retail award went to Justus True Value Home & Garden. The award for friendliest bar went to The Nyx. The Nyx also won the prize for best bar food. In addition, Austin Kodish, a bartender at The Nyx, won for best bartender. McGrath’s Pub & Eatery won for best place for live music. Summit Beverage won for best beer distributor. Northeast Title & Tag was voted the best notary service. Now we come to the food awards. The category of best diner was won by Silver Spoon Diner. Best restaurant was won by Damon’s Grill. The award for best Italian restaurant was won by Dino & Francesco’s Pizza & Pasta House. Winning for best Asian restaurant was Kyoto. The award for best breakfast restaurant was Sunrise Café. They were also voted best brunch restaurant. Voted best lunch restaurant was The Glenburn Grill & Bakery.The winner for best romantic restaurant was State Street Grill. Winning for best restaurant wine selection was Bazil Ristorante Italiano. The award for best place to dine with kids was won by Damon’s Grill. Voted best server was Devon Holcomb of State Street Grill. Winning for best burger was JJ Bridjes Restaurant. The winner for best hoagie/sub was Nickie’s Fabu-

The prize for best dessert goes to Duffy’s Coffee House. They also won for best specialty coffee.
