It’s the dead of winter. It’s still months until the first crack of a baseball bat. But before all the competition and excitement and victory, you gotta sign up. That process begins this week and continues into next month. Find your team, find your signup location and let’s get this started. • The Throop Little League will conduct baseball registrations on the following dates and times at the Throop Civic Center, 500 Sanderson St.: Saturday Jan. 23, 6-9 p.m.; Sunday, Jan. 24, 6-9 p.m.; Wednesday, Jan. 27, 6-9 p.m.; Saturday, Jan. 30, 6-9 p.m.; Sunday Jan. 31, 6-9 p.m. Call 570-489-2588 for more information. • Valley View Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken baseball registration will be held at the Blakely Borough Building, 1439 Main St. in.
