She joinged a photo club, Peace of My Heart Photography, led by her friend and mentor, Lewis DeJoseph. friends. I have learned a great deal from them not only about photography but about life.” Hendrickson said, “I love that photography is an art as well as a technical pursuit. Learning the camera settings, learning the post-processing software, how each setting works together with each other to produce the vision in my head.” Hendrickson is an accountant by trade and photography has been a creative outlet for her. “There is nothing I love more than to go out for a walk with my camera and just be an observer. It is a totally unstructured activity, unlike my job in finance which has some pretty straight forward rules and processes. I love that undirected time to explore, to let my mind and eye wander.” She said the title for the exhibition comes from the beauty of seeing the seeds of nature growing and “becoming” into fruition, “and also metaphorically the ‘seeds’ within me and my passion for my life and photography growing and ‘becoming’.” The exhibition will be on display
