Dig out the light jacket, fall has arrived, and with it plenty of festivities all over the area. Here’s a look at what’s happening: • St. Michael’s Church in Jermyn will hold a “Christmas in September” festival Friday, Sept. 25, 4-8 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 26, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 27, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. Michael’s Center, 403 Delaware Ave. in Jermyn. Friday and Saturday will feature nearly 30 vendors, Christmas desserts, homemade bread, a variety of nut rolls and more. Entertainment will be provided by the Faith Ann Liuzzo Dance School. Saturday will also feature music from the Black Sage Country Band 4-8 p.m. Sunday will include the classic car show with nearly 200 cars and a breakfast menu. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church will hold a one-day sale Saturday, Sept. 26, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the school gym, 133 River St. in Olyphant. Items will include restaurant/kitchen appliances and dishes left over from the banquets once held at the school. • The Eynon-Archbald Lions Club will hold its harvest festival Sunday, Sept. 27, 1-4 p.m. at the High School Plaza Park on Church Street in Archbald, with musical entertainment by Q-Ball, food, games and basket raffles. • The Greater Carbondale YMCA, 82 N.
