ALOHA FROM ALLEN District Board All-Stars! This month has been quite hectic for all of us. From technical issues with dues to Fall Rally North/ South, I have to say we have made quite a lot of progress! During the month of November, the Treasurer’s Committee and I worked to help club officers submit dues. Key Club International director Amanda Spice gave our district an extension for the Early Bird Dues deadline due to the technical issue that prevented all clubs in our district from printing their invoices. The deadline was set for December 1st, 2014, coinciding with the Regular Dues deadline. Although not all clubs received the Early Bird distinction, I am proud that our club officers overcame these obstacles and worked hard to submit their dues in time. Lieutenant Governors, please remember to notify clubs that dues can be paid anytime during the year. All supplemental dues should be paid by February 1st. Member recruitment
does not end after the first club meeting, it’s a year-long process! I am confident that we will reach our goal of 2,600 members for the 2014-2015 year. Let’s break more records this year, KIWIN’S! Yours in service,

FUNDRAISING IDEAS AND DUTIES OF A CLUB TREASURER
MONTHLY DUTIES During December, a Key Club treasurer should be: 1. Planning and executing fundraisers for DCON, Eliminate Project, PTP, or other charitable causes 2. Helping the secretary fill out the fundraising portion of the Monthly Report Form 3. Promoting his/her club 4. Finishing off the membership dues process 5. Begin reviewing awards guidelines (Distinguished Club Treasurer Award, District Project, etc.)
