ALOHA FROM ALLEN
ALOHA District Board All-Stars This has been such an incredible and productive month! Despite all the difficulties that we have experienced throughout the term, I am extremely proud of all our accomplishments this past January. This would not be possible without the election of our new District Governor, Jennifer, or the appointments of Jade for Policy Chair and Dennis for District Convention Chair. We have proven what we are capable of despite the challenges that we faced. As District Convention nears, I hope that all of us will retain the passion that allowed us to take on these leadership roles. We only have 3 months left on board, so let’s make the best of it! Yours in service,
Allen Pham 2014-2015 District Treasurer
WINTER BOARD RECAP January 2-4, 2015 On the first weekend of January, the District Board gathered in Santa Maria, CA for the Winter Board Meeting. There, we went through 3 days of extensive planning in preparation for district elections, the ELIMINATE Benefit Concert, and District Convention. From reviewing convention logistics and registration procedures to analyzing awards applications, we were able to come back home with a renewed sense of motivation as well as a broad
range of knowledge to help officers prepare for upcoming district events and deadlines. This experience would have not been possible without the support and dedication of our advisors. Their commitment to KIWIN’S is astonishing as it is wonderful. The drive to Santa Maria, the food and snacks, and this wonderful weekend was all thanks to our region advisors and administrators!
