Yes. Having a car wash is a good way to promote your organization to the community while raising a decent amount of profit for the club. The location of the car wash wasn’t as crowded as we thought it would be, but it was still a pretty good place to have one.

Hey KIWIN’S! It’s been quite a long month for La Quinta, but still very rewarding. For the month of October, KIWIN’S limited the amount of fundraisers possible because of priorities regarding membership recruitment and dues. We’ve had a sweeping amount of freshmen recruited into the club and as of now, we have more than 230 members on the official roster. KIWIN’S is expecting to exceed 300 members, as we still are collecting dues from members throughout the month of November! OK, ENOUGH OF THE TALK ABOUT DUES. LET’S TALK ABOUT FUNDRAISERS! For the month of October, we hosted a car wash at a local gas station. Surprisingly, more than 20 freshmen came and supported the club by washing cars and helping advertise in the streets. Their spirit, charisma, and enthusiasm truly shined as they brought in more than 50 customers throughout the day. From their dancing to their shouting, La Quinta KIWIN’S can definitely say that we are extremely excited and inspired by the dedication and passion of these new members! That’s it for the month of October, treasurers! Have fun during KIWIN’S Week and hopefully we will meet at Fall Rally South!
