How my Life Coach motivated me to start traveling I cannot recall a single moment in my life where the thought of traveling and flying has made me excited and happy. Since childhood, I was a pretty reserved and shy child. It's safe to say that I was an Introvert without me even knowing about it. However, something which I enjoyed doing was writing and fast forward to adulthood I have now established myself as a pretty successful writer, though I am still an Introvert. Being an introvert brings with it a lot of advantages as well as disadvantages. Being an introvert, I was entirely comfortable in being alone, and this helped me to do what I loved doing, which was writing. However, since I had no social interaction of any sorts, I had become socially awkward and had difficulties socializing and interacting with people in any manner. To make it worse my fear of flying and traveling which I had since I was a child had grown more prominent over the years which further prevented me from going to places and experiencing the beautiful world around me. I knew that I had to overcome my fear of flying and traveling, and as such, I tried a lot of ways to help me overcome this fear of flying and traveling. However, despite spending a lot of time, energy and resources, I could not see any progress happening. Then by chance, while I was surfing the web, I came across an article about a Life Coach and how a Life Coach can help people to overcome their fears and struggles in life. The article described that a Life Coach is a person who is a certified and trained individual who can help people with problems to overcome them, by motivating them, inspiring them and devising plans, tactics and different types of strategies to face their problems. I decided that getting the help of a Life Coach would be the perfect thing for me to do. With a Life Coach, I could get the opportunity to interact and in engage in real life conversations which would help me. As a result, I made an appointment and hired a Life Coach to help me find the courage to start flying and traveling. The sessions I had with my Life Coach were very fruitful and fulfilling. We had sessions where we only talked about me and how my life was going on. As a result, we were able to come up with what actions needed to be taken and made crucial decisions about certain things related to my lifestyle. Then came the time of facing my fears, which was done in a very systematic manner by setting Goals and taking small steps at a time and focusing on making progress how slow it may seem. Though it seemed complicated and painfully slow in the beginning, I slowly started getting the hang of things, and to my surprise, I was making progress. Within no time the fear I had inside of me was gone, and the thought of flying and traveling did not seem like a frightful activity. Besides overcoming my fears, my Life Coach also helped me to become a much more open-minded person, and as such, I was inspired to do much more in life besides writing.
