The Pathy Foundation Fellowship is a perfect post-graduation opportunity for emerging leaders who want to initiate change in their community. The 12-month intensive, experiential learning program is hosted by the Coady Institute. Fellows receive state-of-the-art training in community development and leadership advancement, access to international networks of practitioners, wrap-around personal and professional supports, and generous funding.

The Pathy Fellowship is a self-directed opportunity for young leaders to test and develop their skills in their respective fields while benefiting from a rich support network of driven peers, skilled facilitators, and experienced practitioners. Fellows will gain in-demand and transferrable personal and professional competencies that will serve them for life. Fellows can propose a project in any field, sector, and community, providing them with the opportunity to gain a competitive advantage for their future careers. This fully funded and wellresourced program enables students to dedicate a year of their early career to something they are truly passionate about through hands-on and practical learning.
Eligibility:
Pathy Fellowships are offered to students who meet the current eligibility criteria. Generally, graduating students attending a partner university under the age of 30 are eligible to apply. For more information on eligibility, please visit our website.
Learning Experience:
The Fellowship journey begins with comprehensive training. Throughout the program Pathy Fellows plan, design, and implement an innovative project in a community they have a meaningful connection with. Fellows have access to international professional networks, gain technical project support from leading development practitioners, are provided with generous funding, participate in building and maintaining robust peer support systems, and receive dedicated, ongoing, and individualized support. Coady Institute’s innovative approach to asset-based community-driven development is integrated throughout the program. The program’s educational methods also incorporate a participant-focused, flexible learning agenda underpinned by strong adult education principles, technical expertise, and various supports to optimize project impact, and personal and professional learning and growth.
Who Should Apply?
Tamil Nadu,We are looking for passionate students who demonstrate the capacity and potential to develop and evolve as change makers, and who have the readiness and desire to learn and grow. Prior experience in project management and community development is not required. This program is designed for creative and innovative thinkers who can thrive in both a self-directed and collaborative learning environment. Applicants should have a connection to a community anywhere in the world and an idea of how to support and improve that community. Application advising is available to support candidates in identifying their strongest community connections and project ideas.
