This issue marks three years of Coal Coast Magazine, and what a wonderful ride it’s been! Our autumn cover image is of Lawrence Hargrave Drive, as it twists down our beautiful escarpment through Stanwell Park. In this issue we look back at the man who lends his name to this famous stretch of road - Lawrence Hargrave, the gentleman aviator. Very fitting then that local photographer Brad Chilby chartered a plane to take this pic! Lawrence would be proud.
