e would like to welcome you all to the 2017 APNA Truck Show, the largest trucking event in Western Canada. As in previous years, the APNA Truck Show will take place at the Tradex in beautiful Abbotsford, BC, where there will be things to see and do for the entire family. The weather has finally begun to cooperate and if you are here for a few days, take the time to enjoy some of the great outdoor activities the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland have to offer. For 2017, we are proud and honoured to say that the APNA Truck Show is a sold-out event. For the first time, all 150, 000 square feet of the Tradex will be utilized, reinforcing the show’s popularity in Western Canada. This year’s theme is technology and innovations; while here, take the opportunity to learn of the newest products, technologies, and services directly by industry leaders. As with every trade show, take the time to network and make connections to grow your own brand and business. At APNA 2015, we were proud to raffle off a brand new, custom built Harley Davidson motorcycle that was valued at over $16, 000. This year, thanks to Hyundai Translead and Kingpin Trailers, one lucky person will win a new Hyundai trailer, or take $20, 000 cash! All proceeds will benefit Children’s Wish Foundation, helping sick children’s dreams become a reality. This year’s show will also mark beginning of a new joint venture with SafetyDriven; on Saturday, June 10th, make sure you attend the Speaker Series, which will focus on Health and Safety. Listen to retired CFL professional Shea Emry, Dietician/Media Personality Diana Steele, or enjoy the COR panel discussion, facilitated by our very own Jag Dhatt. APNA Truck Show 2017 will also host an all-new Meet & Greet segment, where professionals will have the opportunity to discuss business, oneon-one. In addition, before the VIP Dinner event, a Cocktail Party will take place, where it will be time to wind down, relax, and have conversations in a more social atmosphere. All of these new additions to the APNA Truck Show were made possible thanks to our new Advisory Committee, which held regular meetings for the past two months. The APNA Truck Show has always been promoted and seen as a family event because as we all know, trucking is a family business. The same continues for this year, where there will be abundant activities for both days for all to enjoy. In addition, there is continuous entertainment from local and international celebrities. A show like this is not an easy event to organize. For the past year, our team has dedicated countless hours to make sure the 2017 APNA Truck Show puts smiles on the faces of all attendees! We would like to send our heart-felt thanks to Tradex, Levy Show Services, and the city of Abbotsford. Finally, the APNA Truck Show is not possible without its sponsors, exhibitors and visitors!
