023 was an exciting year for Atlanta CoPublisher Craig Glander and he is looking forward to what 2024 has in store! “We had many firsttime events such as exhibiting at the Atlanta Boat Show (photo A), the Blue Ridge Trout A Fest and the Fly Fishing Show in Atlanta,” wrote Craig. “We sponsored our local high school wrestling team (photo B) as well as our local high school fishing team. My son Landon and his fishing partner have represented us and the fishing team well, including in a recent MLF Open High School Tournament on Lake Hartwell that they won!” (Photo C is from the weighin, and click here to read the press release online.) “One of the highlights for 2023 involved their trip to the National Championship over the summer in La Crosse, WI. While they didn’t win, my son caught a huge bullfrog
B while fishing. They posted the video on Instagram, which went viral, and has received 839K views! (Photo D shows the views—along with The Angler Magazine on his sleeve!) The frog was released unharmed...

HIGHLIGHTS
NORTH CENTRAL FLORIDA / NATURE COAST
Y
ou may now address North Central Florida/Nature Coast Co-Publisher Lynn Crutchfield as GREAT Grandmother as Aurora Lynn made her debut three weeks early on the night of December 14th at a tiny 6 pounds, 18 inches. She was born in Texas, while her father, Lynn’s grandson, was on his ship in Spain. He left immediately and arrived in Amarillo just a few days after her birth. Everyone is doing well and the military now has paternity leave, so he may stay in Amarillo until mid February when his ship is scheduled to again be deployed.
MIAMI
M
iami Co-Publisher Scott Goodman put in a fine effort to enhance our reputation and recognition at the 2023 Miami Boat Show and left little to chance on ensuring this was CAM’s best Miami Boat Show to date. Scott coordinated with the show’s production staff to have his Miami edition available in all the show racks and went a step further by hiring two friendly faces, who were wearing Coastal Angler t-shirts, to hand out magazines at the show’s entrance. Over 2,000 magazines were put in the hands of attendees and exhibitors! Scott generated substantial revenue by turning his local edition into a “Boat Show Edition.” Numerous franchisees and CAM’s National Sales Team sent Miami Boat Show ads to Scott’s local edition. He also contracted with the nearby world famous Lobster Shack to host an casual “get-together” for his writers and advertisers which enabled a sense of camaraderie among the MORE 2023 HIGHLIGHTS ON NEXT PAGE guests that can only be described as invaluable.
