Off to see the wizard
Summerland School student Francis Bennett demonstrates great courage performing as the Cowardly Lion in the school production of “The Wizard of Oz.” Above, the lion shares the stage with Dorothy, played by Ella Bailey, in the Friday evening performance. Directed by Laezer Schlomkowitz, the play included every student at the small school where the last several weeks have been crammed with rehearsals, costume-making and line memorizing.
