How to Apply
Review program entrance requirements*. Choose your program at coastmountaincollege.ca/programs.
Apply online at apply.educationplannerbc.ca or complete an application for admission at any registration desk.
Receive your letter of acceptance.
Register for classes and pay your fees online, in-person, or over the phone.
Attend orientation at your campus and begin your CMTN journey!
* Program Entrance Requirements
These are specific to each program and they need to be met before you can attend classes. If you do not meet the required grade for some of your admissions prerequisites, you may choose to take our upgrading courses, which allows you to proceed with your application, or you can complete a permission of instructor form. Contact an educational advisor at advising@coastmountaincollege.ca for guidance and course planning.

Learn Outside the Classroom Choose Your Pathway
Get work-related skills during first-and second year courses out in the field. CMTN summer field schools and intensives offer hands-on learning that brings in-class knowledge to life in subjects including biodiversity, criminal justice, foraging, harvesting and processing local food sources, globalization, Indigenous connections to place and landscape in Northwest BC, marine invertebrate zoology, and more.
Set against the stunning environments and diverse cultures of Northwest BC, this unique opportunity for experiential, place-based learning condenses a full semester of learning into a few weeks of immersion.
