“The instructor, Chef Brad, he’s amazing. If you don’t understand something, he will walk you through it. He’ll show you pretty much everything that you need to know. And it’s really nice because he’s just always in your corner to make sure that you’re there to succeed.”

Skills Canada BC Competition

CMTN is a proud regional host every year, bringing together other skilled tradespeople from across the Northwest. Students have the opportunity to go on to compete at the provincial and national levels.

Unsure if you should begin with a foundation or an apprenticeship program?

These are just different entry points on the same career path. If you’re new to your trade of choice, a foundation program will teach you valuable skills and provide hands-on experience. Already working in your trade with an employer? Start your path to Red Seal endorsement by registering in an apprenticeship program.

“[Electrical] is such a vast trade, there’s so many different sectors and ways and places you can go with it, and I really love that about it. You’re always going to learn something new, it’s always changing.”
