MAKING YOUR HOLIDAYS MERRY AND BRIGHT From memories made around the dinner table to laughs enjoyed with the ones who matter most, we’re always here when you need us, working in the background, to make your holidays a little bit brighter.

NEW YEAR UPDATES NEW LOOK: Our online account management system is getting an upgrade. The new portal will include a new look and feel with a streamlined user experience. Look for more details in the new year. cobbemc.com/account MANAGING THE COST OF ENERGY: As a distribution cooperative, we do not generate power. Our rates are based on two main components – the actual cost of the wholesale power we buy from companies that generate electricity, and the cost for us to get that power to you. We set rates based on projections of what energy costs will be in the future and the cost to deliver that energy to you. Energy costs have increased over the last two years. Because of this, most residential members will see an average increase of 2% per member per month on electric bills in 2024. We understand that any increase in electric bills can be challenging for our members so we continue to work diligently to minimize the impact of rising costs industry-wide and remain committed to providing the most competitive electric rate in the state. cobbemc.com/workingforyou

‘TIS THE SEASON TO PICK YOUR FAVORITE HOLIDAY LIGHTS We’ve teamed up with 10 Cobb EMC members who will compete for your vote for the best light display. We invite you and your family to experience the joy of the holiday season and the spirit of giving by visiting all of the homes and voting in our awardwinning holiday lights initiative. Beginning December 1 and through December 25, we’ll post each of the 10 houses on our Facebook page and ask you to vote for your favorite light display by giving it a “like”. The top three homes with most “likes” will each receive a $500 donation from Cobb EMC to the nonprofit of their choosing. To visit all of the houses, follow the map located on the back of this page. Cobb EMC is also getting in the holiday spirit with a drive-through light display at our own Solar Flower Garden from 6-10 p.m. nightly from Dec. 1-Dec. 25. We look forward to celebrating the holiday season with you! Visit cobbemc.com/holiday to learn more.
