1.0. INTRODUCTION We would like to introduce ourselves as one of the largest industrial valve manufacturers in Europe. A brief into our company for yourself. Arflu S.A., incorporated in 1988, designs and manufactures industrial valves such as : Ball Valves, Globe Valves, Plug Valves, Check Valves, Gate Valves, Air Valves, catering to various countries like: Iran, Saudi Arabia, U.A.E, Kuwait, Qatar, Iraq, Libia, Algeria, South Africa, Netherlands, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Spain, Italy, UK, Germany, Norway... Today Arflu is well- known for design, development, manufacturing and testing. We are equipped with the most modern installations and a highly-qualified human team, enabling us to offer the widest possible range of valves combining high standards in technology, quality and productivity, as well as tradition, experience and dependability, with an unrivalled reputation for quality and service. ARFLU‘s quality guarantee system, as well as all its processes and procedures, both technical ones regarding products and the organisation of the company is certified according to EN ISO 9001 standard. The company is structured into five different divisions, Petrochemical & Energy, Gas, Water, Marine and Thermosolar Divisions and we are proud to present them as follows in this brochure.

ARFLU,S.A. is located in an industrial area, with total factory surface of 10600 m2, divided in 5000 m2 of gardens and parking and 3000 m2 of cover surface and 2000 m2 in Madrid head office and 600m2 in Sedein engineering.

The factory is according a layout design, from receiving the raw material to delivering the finished products on the truck. We are equipped with an unloading bay to facilitate the loading of the boxes into containers.

In the whole of our long history in the valve market, we have been through different economical and social moments, from which we have learnt a very important lesson. ARFLU’s current staff is established, organised and in agreement to be solvent with the market challenges and is focused on giving the best answer to the customer’s requirements. Our company has highly qualified personnel, well prepared for the management of the day to day running of the company. We also count with subcontract staff which allow us to grow in the good moments or for big projects, and reduce on recession moments. Our staff is well experienced, with an average age of 35 years, assuring a brilliant future for our company.

5.4- INPECTION EQUIPMENT AND RESOURCES ARFLU, S.A. is equipped with inspection tools to develop the entire nondestructive tests as follows: • Portable Digital Spectometer • Calibre and equipment to check all dimensions. • Equipment to test hardness (Durometer) • Equipment to test wall thickness • Liquid dye penetrant test • Magnetic particles test TEST AREAS TO CHECK PRESSURE AND OPERATION OF OUR PRODUCTS ARFLU is equpped with the following testing semiautomatic benches: 1) Bench for flanged valves from 2” to 12”, pressures from class 150 to class 600 and from 2” to 8” for class 900 and class 1500. 2) Bench for flanged valves from 14” to 24”, pressures from class 150 to class 1500. 3) Bench for RF or BW valves from 2” to 12”, pressures from class 150 to class 2500. 4) Bench for RF, BW, SW or NPT valves from 1/2” to 3”, pressures from class 150 to class 1500. 5) Semi-automatic test bench for RF or BW ends and the following sizes and pressures: - Up to 42” and class 600 - Up to 32” and class 900 - Up to 18” and class 2500 - Up to 14” and class 4500 6) High and low temperatures testing benches with N2 y He: - 150010 - 60010 - 150003 - 6003 - FE 01-1500 7) Cryogenic bench for sizes between 4” and 12” and pressures from class 600 to 10.000

8.0. QUALITY SYSTEM 14
In ARFLU, we believe that our best and major quality accreditation is based on the opinion and loyalty of our customers during the last 25 years. Besides and due to the fact that many customers/markets require and/or need International certifications, we have worked on this direction trying to obtain those certificates necessary to assure the end user the reliability and know-how of our organization and products. Once all the mechanising is finished and prior to authorisation by the Quality Department, we start with the assembly of every valve. Each valve passes the final quality control, when we test the correct operation of the valve. All our processes are endorsed by certificated company BSI that certifies that all our processes comply with ISO 9001-2000 standard. Likewise, our designs and products comply with the international standards. ARFLU has identified all its processes in order to achieve the maximum satisfaction of our customers.

ENGINEERING AND GUARANTEE QUALITY DEPARTMENT ARFLU, S.A. has an Engineering and Quality Guarantee Department, with qualified technical and human staff to guarantee the quality and reliability in all the different manufacturing processes of all the products manufactured by ARFLU, S.A. Our Quality Management System is composed and supported by a Quality Guarantee Manual, Procedures, Specifications, Technical Instructions, Drawings, International Standards, and so on. All is managed by informatics tools as software, assuring the quality of the management. ARFLU has done a big investment in his own engineering company SEDEIN with 35 engineers with the latest software to design valves in 3 dimensions.
