CodeBotics A Fortnightly E-Zine. Issue 1: August 1, 2020
HELLO WORLD!
I am Anjali Jayaraman. I am in Grade 6. I created this E-Zine Codebotics because I love Coding and want to share fun things with everyone who wants to learn coding. You can share stuff you know as well. Let's explore Codebotics! CodeBotics is also a Coding Club where kids get to explore the wide world of Technology. We will get to explore the basics of programming, collaborate with each other and solve problems in computing.
Time to Code!
But most of all, having fun is the motto of CodeBotics
LEARN, CREATE, SHARE

Bluetooth is a wireless connection or technology that connects two or more devices. But have you wondered why it has such an odd name to begin with? Here is the story: Once upon a time there was this Viking King, Harald ‘Bluetooth’ Gormsson who had this amazing ability to bring people together for peaceful negotiations. But he also happened to have a rotten nasty tooth which was bluey-black. So much for the name Bluetooth. So when Jim Kardach of intel was working on a new technology , he happened to be reading about this Viking King. Just like how Harald connected people, Bluetooth technology connects devices. Hence he named it Bluetooth. Also the logo of Bluetooth is actually two Scandinavian letters > (H) and B (B), which stands for Harald Bluetooth
Book Review: Have you heard of the Turing test? If you have, you'll probably know who invented it. The one and only.....Alan Turing! (Isn't that obvious?) Bombes, (No, it's a real thing. I didn't spell it wrong) It is an electromechanical device used to help decipher machine-encrypted secret messages during World War II. Read about this genius mathematician and code breaker who saved millions of lives and helped bring the Second World War to an end. But also was afraid of the Snow White movie!!!!
