St Joseph’s Church Pastoral Centre Licence summary Only persons licensed by Brent Council's Health Safety and Licensing Section may trade from the street. A street includes any road, footway or other area that is within seven metres of a road or footway and is not enclosed and to which the public have access without payment. Street trading means the selling, exposing for sale or offering for sale of any article (including a living thing) or the supplying or offering to supply any service in a street for gain or reward.

OUTDOOR COOKING AREAS WEMBLEY TRIANGLE

Licences can only be issued for the 50 or so designated sites in the borough and there is a waiting list for these sites. Any person displaying goods outside their shop needs to have a street trading licence unless they own the forecourt to the shop. This also applies to the licensing of pavement cafes.

Open source

Open source rules: Universal access via free license to a product’s design or blueprint. Universal redistribution of that design or blueprint, including subsequent improvments to it by anyone. 1 Over the last few years, the concept of open-source has started spreading from software (where it was first used in 1998), to financial, manufacturing and designing realms. This means that an alternative system is developing, where freely shared blueprints can be accessed and adapted to specific needs - there’s platforms suchs as Spacehive for crowdfunding, WikiHouse for housing design and build, Open Desk for furniture design, Brickstarter for development done by communities, as well as LandWiki, which is a campaign for an open map of public land.
