The CNG parent community democratically elects a seven-member Board of Directors who provide direction on strategic planning, finance, and policy for our non-profit organization. Elected members can serve up to three consecutive two-year terms before rotating out for a minimum of one year. Additionally, the U.S. Ambassador appoints a representative to serve on the Board as a non-voting member. The CNG

Board of Directors has a decades-long history of stability, cooperation, and a high degree of professionalism allowing school directors room to successfully lead and implement a shared broad vision for the school.

CNG has a talented and well-structured 25-member Admin Team with proven administrative experience in over 30 different countries , which guides continuous school improvement efforts through a process of annual strategic planning in conjunction with the Board and Director.

Faculty and Staff

CNG fosters a caring educational environment through a dynamic balance of local and international faculty to promote awareness, appreciation, and inclusion across our multicultural demographic of students and community members. The school employs 350 teachers with international experience in more than 75 different countries. CNG has the highest number of international teachers across all schools in Colombia and over 80% of our faculty join us with advanced degrees, including nine with doctoral degrees.

Our faculty receive ongoing training in differentiation to benefit all students across the entire learning continuum. Continuous learning remains a high priority at CNG, and staff members have opportunities to develop professionally by attending in-country and international conferences as well as participating in on-campus and virtual training sessions with experts in their fields of study.

In addition to our experienced faculty, CNG employs an additional 141 staff who work in administrative support, food service, cleaning, maintenance, and transportation, as well as 274 personnel through third-party providers in security, transportation, and general services.

Additionally, we are engaged in a multi-year capital campaign to, among other things, build a state-of-the-art innovation center for learning, exploring, ideating, creating, and dreaming. These and other capital projects will ensure CNG remains at the forefront of innovative education in Colombia and across Latin America.
