Did You Know?
Mindful Walking
Walking for Physical and Mental Health
Breath and Movement: As you walk, pay attention to your posture and breathing. In your exhales, breath out stress and worries, in your inhales, breath in energy and life.
The Senses: What do you see, smell, hear and what can you touch? Try to keep yourself present in the moment by focusing on what is around you.
Connections: Find something especially interesting or beautiful in ordinary nature - something that you really connect with.
Gratitude: As you step outdoors, bring to mind something you are grateful for. Throughout your walk, look for simple things that stir up a feeling of wellbeing or gratefulness.
Walk with family or friends: Turn these meditations into conversations as you enjoy the company of family and friends.
