CRITICAL PLAY SEMINAR
HOW TO PLAY: - Take the first two or three numbers and add them together. - Think of an animal that starts with the letter that appears next (if there are two letters you think of two different animals) - Finally with the last numbers you just have to say individually the ones that would go next. So for example, if the last numbers are 1185 you will say 2296.

For this game I reimagined a make believe game I used to play as a kid, in my home garden, where I would imagine myself chopping vegetables/cooking food/watching tv in my own little house. I used to really want to be an adult when I was a child so this was my way of compromising. In this game I reimagined the game now as an adult where I played out the preparation for a date.

‘Yellow Car’ This game is very simple and many people know about it, well I think they do. It was a trend and very common game, that I played when I was young with my friends. It is called ‘Yellow Car’. The way you play this game is to tap another person’s shoulder and say ‘yellow car’ and if you tap the person first you win if you forget or didn’t tap the person in time you loose. This game can be played by two people or more. There is one rule that applies, which is that you can only tap the other person if the car is passing by (driving), because if it’s parked that doesn’t count and it must be a yellow car. This game is commonly played if you waiting for some type of transport or when you walking somewhere. This image is showing how two people are walking by and a yellow car is driving past, as the person on the left is tapping him/her on the shoulder and pointing at the car so the other person know’s why.

Instructions: 1. You must be sitting in a moving car. 2. As your journey progresses your aim is imagine you are going to meet each post as you come close to it and to move your head to dodge the oncoming post. 3. This game can be made harder by using poles and trees. Then you can introduce the other side of the road. You can also add other obstacles like oncoming cars e.g. blinking. Grace Malone

A game I used to play when I was a child on long car journeys. You have to imagine you are flying alongside the car, but your path is obstructed by the windows and doors on the street beside you. You can go over and under windows but if you go under a door you crash (because you run out of wall space to fly in!). You have to go under or over each door and window and you see how long you last before you crash.
