August 2013 | Page 2 BIBLE STUDIES for the FALL College Heights Christian Church is committed to making passionate disciples of Jesus Christ who radically change the world. How do we become passionate disciples? The answer is easy…we need to know Jesus. How do we get to know Jesus so we can become passionate disciples? Another easy answer…through His Word. The women’s ministry at CH wants to give women many opportunities to delve into His Word. Listed below are dedicated leaders and hosts who would love to help you do just that. There are also many other Bible studies that happen with just 2 or 3 ladies around a kitchen table or at a coffee shop. For some of you it is time to invite others: your neighbors, relatives, co-workers to join your journey of becoming a passionate disciple, either at one of the studies below or starting your own. Your world, your neighborhood, your work place will be radically changed. (The WIM office has many Bible study resources. Call Carol for suggestions 624-6915 x301.) You will have opportunities to sign up for studies on Sundays beginning August 18 and at the Kickoff August 17.

Women’s Prayer Outreach “Transforming Women’s Lives through the Power of Prayer” For some time now several of your sisters in Christ have been eager to develop a WOMEN'S PRAYER OUTREACH here at CHCC. Much prayer, planning, and preparation has taken place with God as our partner. We are ready and want you to join us! “30 Days to Becoming a Woman of Prayer” by Stormie Omartian will be used as our study. Please join us beginning Wednesday, August 28th from 7-8:15 PM in A101. The 12 sessions will be fast-paced and interactive. Watch for our display at the WIM’s Annual Fall Kickoff, th August 17 and in the Atrium on Sunday mornings. Books will be available at the display and at the first night of class. Stormie says, "You were not created to live in bondage, brokenness or failure. God wants you to live in true freedom, true wholeness, and true success.
