Motlow State transformed Gabrielle's career path and life from one of not being sure how to pursue her dream of practicing medicine to one that has equipped her with the skills and confidence needed to save lives as an advanced
emergency medical technician. With the Tennessee Promise Scholarship and Honors Scholarship, she was able to earn an associate degree and ultimately found her passion working in emergency medicine and with traumas. Gabrielle is currently pursuing a bachelor's in biology with a concentration in genetics and biotechnology, along with a minor in chemistry in the Physician’s Assistant program at Middle Tennessee State University.

Associate of Applied Science degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology laid the foundation for pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechatronics engineering technology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Allen contributed to innovative projects including a robotic hand controlled by eye movements and a four-degree-of-freedom Pick and Place Cartesian Robot. Now pursuing a master’s in cybersecurity, Allen exemplifies how Chattanooga State empowers students to pursue lifelong learning and make positive impacts on our state’s workforce.

Today, Katelynn thrives in her role as a welder, a testament to the high-quality, industry-relevant education she received.

Gavin, a freshman at Pellissippi State Community College, credits the college's innovative programs for opening his door to college. As a senior in high school, Gavin engaged in meaningful hands-on experiences through Pellissippi State’s Information Technology College to Career Collaboratives program. His internships, first with Cirrus Aircraft and later within Pellissippi State’s own IT department, provided invaluable industry exposure and networking opportunities. With support from knowledgeable mentors, he gained realworld technical skills that textbooks alone couldn't offer. Through these opportunities, Gavin has not only expanded his skill set but also secured contract work, positioning him well ahead of the curve as he pursues his degree.

The Middle College Program at Roane State Community College played a significant role in Anthony’s academic and professional success. The Roane State Foundation provided financial support that allowed him to participate in college courses and gave him the confidence needed to continue his college journey. With the assistance of Roane State faculty and staff, he applied for and received the UT Battelle Scholarship, which accelerated his education and paved the way for him to earn dual degrees in aerospace and mechanical engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Anthony is currently pursuing a master’s in aerospace systems and recently accepted a full-time position as a starship dynamics engineer at SpaceX.

In addition, she significantly boosted her math scores while balancing work and volunteer duties.
