Whether it’s on the flight line or on campus, safety is job one at ERAU! The Campus Safety and Security Department offers a number of services to help Eagles protect their safety and their property. Safety escorts, motorist assistance, and the popular “Lease-a-Lock” program are available to your Eagle, and the campus is patrolled 24/7, 365 days a year. The department issues Eagle Alerts to advise the community when there is an added risk so that preventative action can be taken.
The Campus Safety and Security Department is also the division that oversees emergency management on campus in the event of storms or other threats. The Emergency Operations Team (EOT) is tasked with managing and communicating campus emergencies and ERAU is the first university to achieve a safety-standard certification known as Stage II IS-BAO.
typically provides updates every afternoon during an emergency. Updates are generally published on the University webpage and alerts are distributed as necessary through the Parent Newsletter.
Is your Eagle interested in being a first responder? The Emergency Response Team (ERT) is made up of students who have been certified to provide assistance to people in medical distress.
