INTERNATIONAL STUDENT AND SCHOLAR SERVICES (ISSS)
International students play an important role in the Penn landscape. Their presence enriches the academic and cultural experience both inside and outside the classroom. Penn prides itself on having one of the largest student populations of international students in the U.S. and the campus boasts a vibrant and welcoming climate for our global community. ISSS will be there every step of the way. We recognize that your student will soon embark on a life-changing journey. ISSS helps provide immigration documents, facilitates the transition to life at Penn and the U.S., and provides services throughout the Penn experience and beyond graduation. Our core services include immigration advising and integration programming. We provide guidance to students for travel needs, U.S. employment authorization, and anything related to immigration. We offer information and programs that assist with integrating into the Penn community and the surrounding Philadelphia area by offering culturally related activities, social events, and opportunities to get involved on campus.
