First Year: The Academic Transition THE BASICS After all is said and done, college is about developing students’ academic and social skills and abilities, with the goal of producing well-rounded, well-informed global citizens who are well-prepared for employment, graduate school, and life. The high school transcript and test scores may or may not reflect your Morganite’s potential. You may find that your student will perform about the same as in high school, better than in high school, or take a couple of semesters to hit their stride. Here are some basic terms you should know:
Final High School Transcript An admission decision is contingent on successful completion of any courses in progress or that were planned to be taken prior to entry to Morgan. Admitted freshmen should have their final high school transcripts sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admission & Recruitment by August 1. Transcripts from any postsecondary institutions that may have been attended during high school, or after high school graduation, must be sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admission & Recruitment.
