Welcome to the VGF 2013! Welcome to VGF 2013 where we will be “Going For Gold at Village Green”!! Village Green Fair got its start in 1967 as a white elephant sale! Years later, VGF has evolved to become the largest fundraiser of the Parent’s Association. Thanks to you – the parents – we are able to raise money for Smart Boards, the Capital Campaign and most recently, the flooring of Fort Cougar and renovation of the Reed-Gumenick Library. We appreciate all you do to help VGF be a success! From the baking and volunteering, to coming out on Fair Day with your family – we thank you for being Gold Medal Parents! This year’s Fair – #46 – will open with Spirit Night at Chik-fil-A on April 3. The Fair weekend continues with the traditions of games, rides, snow cones, Gold Fish Toss, shopping and more! We are also excited to welcome a Richmond Favorite, Sally Bell’s Kitchen, for Friday Frolic boxed lunches. Your VGF packet contains everything needed for an awardwinning experience! We look forward to seeing you on April 19th & 20th ! Maureen Stepanian and Beth Fallon

We Need You! 2013 Bake Sale The Bake Sale has been a part of the VGF since 1968 with hundreds of Collegiate families contributing thousands of cookies and cakes over the years. This is one of the most popular and successful booths at the fair, and last year we ran out of goodies. We need your help! • We are asking that ALL Parents contribute to the Village Green Fair Bake Sale. For inspiration, check out the Stuffed Cougar. All baked goods will be accepted. • Please group smaller items in 4’s or 6’s, and label all packages so they are ready to sell. • Label items containing no gluten, no peanuts, and no tree nuts.
