Welcome to the
2018 Vintage Village Green Fair
T I ’ N I K C I K L O O H C S D OL
THE PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION AND THE VGF COMMITTEE
ARE EXCITED TO ENJOY A FUN DAY WITH YOU, YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS AT VINTAGE VGF! FRIDAY, APRIL 20 FROM 10 A.M.-3 P.M. AND SATURDAY, APRIL 21 FROM 9 A.M.-3 P.M. Since 1965, the Village Green Fair is the Parents’ Association’s largest annual school-wide event and fundraiser. Our committee has been working all year to continue VGF’s tradition of fun for the entire Collegiate community, and in its 53rd year, we’re Kickin’ It Old School with Vintage VGF! We invite you to be there when the fun begins on Friday, April 20! Join us from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. for Friday Frolic, featuring lunch, Shops on the Green and entertainment from Lower, Middle and Upper School Cougars. From 6-8 p.m., campus is reserved just for our upper schoolers to have Vintage fun and eat great food! Vintage VGF kicks into high gear first thing on Saturday, April 21 with lower school runners starting the day off with the Fun Run. Vintage VGF will then be in full swing with favorite games and activities of today and from the past: Cake Walk, dodgeball, dunk tank, inflatables, lip sync, trackless train and more! Unique to 2018 will be a green and gold 1909 Model T Ford available for photo opportunities. Remember to check out the Garden Shoppe, Shops on the Green and the Classy Cougar for finds of all kinds. You are sure to find something to satisfy your hunger, and our fourth graders will bring a blast from the past by selling Cougarade during the lunch hours. Vintage VGF is all about celebrating a tradition of family, friends, food and FUN with our Collegiate community! No matter your involvement in VGF – volunteering for a shift on fair day, baking for the Cake Walk, cheering on your own Cougar at dodgeball or lip sync, or wearing the Vintage VGF t-shirt, we are grateful for your support of Collegiate through the Parents’ Association. Please visit our website to learn more about the various ways you can support our school through Vintage VGF.
We look forward to Kickin’ It Old School with you on April 20 and 21! - Katherine Adamson and Nancy Jo Kantner
