If this is likely to be a regular occurrence, we encourage you to sign up for the 5-Day Plus Plan which allows for the standard one lunch period and any eating during additional lunch periods between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Estes Student Center Café With one year under our belt, the Café has become a source of a la carte breakfast, snacks and beverages for our Upper School students. For the 2014–15 school year, the Café will be open Monday–Friday from 7:30 a.m.–2 p.m.

McFall Hall Snack Bar The McFall Hall Snack Bar is frequented by students of all ages and is open in the mornings Monday–Friday 7:30-10 a.m. and in the afternoons Monday–Thursday 2:30–4 p.m. All purchases at both the Café and McFall Hall Snack Bar are billed directly to your account unless stipulated otherwise.

Value of the Meal Plan There are many reasons Collegiate School’s meal plan is a great value: delicious food prepared fresh daily, healthy and nutritional options, peace of mind knowing your child is eating well, avoiding the hassle of making lunch and the cost savings resulting from not paying a daily rate. Depending on the meal plan you select, cost savings can be as much as 14%. For example, a Middle or Upper School student not on a meal plan would pay $1,100 versus $965 for the Five Day Plan. And, for just an additional $255, Upper School students can eat during any and every lunch period between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. each day. We offer two payment options—a monthly option and a lump sum payment, which will save you an additional 5% for the year.

Special Diets & Food Allergies Collegiate’s dining service and a Registered Dietician (R.D.) will work with parents, school nurses, teachers and health care providers to help manage students’ food allergies and special diets by: • Working with physicians, dieticians or qualified nutritional specialists to manage dietary substitutions. • Knowing where emergency medications are stored and knowing how they should be administered in case a student has an allergic reaction. • Reviewing menus with parents of students who have food allergies to determine what, if any, menu items need to be substituted.

Organic? Aladdin is committed to offering organic fruits and vegetables when available and in season. We encourage students to look for the Collegiate School Organic symbol to identify when organic ingredients are used and products are being offered.
