Atlanta Office Parking Rates Continue to Hold Steady The data for this parking survey was compiled and collected by Colliers International - Atlanta through means of calling property Landlords, Owners and Parking Operators; and also by on-foot research. Criteria used for this report includes covered or underground parking garages only; located in Atlanta’s urban submarkets. For decks not associated with office buildings, location is in proximity and relevant to office centers:

The overall average for unreserved parking rates in Atlanta’s Central Business District (CBD)* showed a slight increase of $1.46 per month from 2011’s average. The high remains unchanged from last year at $135 in three locations while the low increased to $55. Buckhead’s average rate for unreserved parking is $68.65 per month according to this year’s survey; the high and low are $95 and $25, with four office properties offering parking at no cost. Reserved Rates (monthly) The CBD’s overall reserved parking rate average remained relatively unchanged from 2011’s survey. The high also remains unchanged at $200 and can be found at two locations: 1075 Peachtree and 1180 Peachtree. The low increased to $55 and is located at Mayfair Royal. Buckhead’s average rate for reserved parking is $104.18 per month according to this year’s survey. The high and low are $135 located at 3630 Peachtree and $65 which can be found at the Lenox Center building. Daily Maximums and Hourly Rates The daily maximum average rate in the CBD increased slightly in 2012 to $12.03. The most affordable locations to park for the day range between $4-$6 and can be found in seven parking facilities mostly on the southern end of the CBD. The highest daily maximum in the CBD is $22 and is located directly adjacent to the Westin Peachtree. For Buckhead, parking is free in four office locations. Elsewhere, the lowest daily maximum is $8 at five locations. The highest daily maximum in Buckhead is located at Lenox Overlook which costs $20 to park for the day. Hourly parking rates average around $4.35 in the CBD and $4 in Buckhead.
