Hinging on Hospitality Southern Nevada’s economy hinges on hospitality, and we have some post-closure numbers there that are sobering. Compared to one year ago, June saw visitor volume down 70.5%, gaming revenue down 51.4%, convention attendance down 100%, airport passengers down 76.6% and room occupancy down 50.8% with 36.2% fewer rooms on the market. July numbers have not yet been released, but from the stories I am seeing in the press, I am expecting numbers very similar to June’s. economic recessions were often called “panics”…

I think we can say the same for the 21st century. We just scared ourselves out of two or three years of growth, and until the economy is fully re-opened, will probably have to claw those lost jobs back slowly. But hey – cheer up… it’s finally election season! That will be fun, right?

AUGUST 2020

Email delivery and read-rates are highly dependent on getting your email past spam filters. One prominent aspect of your email’s potential Spam rating is the subject line. While the subject lines in our templates are pre-filled as they are generated, it is recommended that they be reviewed and corrected to align with both your intended messaging and standard best practices.

Use the Right Distribution Lists Getting your property in front of the people that want to see it is important, but you also want to get full market coverage for your client. Our distribution lists are set up to include people that are interested in specific types of properties in specific markets and include both brokers within that market as well as brokers from other markets that do business in that market or simply want that information.

Punctuation: •

Never use more than 2 punctuation marks

Using an exclamation mark (!) in the subject line is to be avoided at all costs, especially when it is preceded by a question mark (?)

Never use a single apostrophe (‘)
