Student’s Books

This series is fully aligned with the current Cambridge Primary Maths curriculum and can be used alongside the Collins International Primary Maths series. These books contain three diž erent types of mathematical problem-solving challenges:

Solving mathematical problems Pupils solve problems ‘within’ mathematics itself, by recognising patterns and relationships, making conjectures and generalisations, and explaining and justifying conclusions.

Reasoning mathematically Pupils use logical thinking to solve problems by focusing on making links between diž erent aspects of mathematics and challenging themselves to explain using key mathematical terms. Using and applying mathematics in real-world contexts Pupils engage in challenges that require them to use and apply their mathematical knowledge and skills in open-ended, realworld contexts.
