Read this information about James Dyson.

Dream Big! The Dyson vacuum cleaner was designed and created by James Dyson. He came up with the idea to create it many years ago, but it took a long time for his idea to become a reality. He didn’t like the regular vacuum cleaners that you can buy at most stores. Those vacuum cleaners would lose sucking power when they collected dust. The more dust the vacuum cleaner collected in its bag, the weaker it would become. He thought to himself, “There must be a better way to do this!” His big idea was to create a vacuum cleaner that didn’t need a bag – it could collect dust but wouldn’t lose power. He tried 5,126 times to make the perfect vacuum cleaner, but failed every time! Finally, his 5,127th vacuum cleaner was perfect. He had created a very different type of vacuum cleaner. It didn’t need a bag. His next challenge was to try and sell his idea. He took his new vacuum cleaner to different stores, but no one in the UK wanted to buy it. His machine was too different. No one wanted to take a risk with something so different. James didn’t give up. He believed his vacuum cleaner was a great idea. He took it to Japan, where they love technology. He won an award for his idea. But still, no one wanted to make and sell his vacuum cleaner. So what did he do? He started his own company! It took him 15 years to finally get his vacuum cleaner into shops, and today he is worth more than $3 billion. James Dyson had a dream and he worked very hard to achieve his dream. He failed many times, but finally he was successful. 12
